The lodge offers a continental or buffet breakfast. Breakfast exceeded our expectations! There was great variety! Everything was really good! And the staff are just lovely. I wish that I knew all of their names but I only remember Rosa who was super helpful!!

If you would like to discover the area, cycling is possible in the surroundings and the lodge can arrange a bicycle rental service. The most amazing view you can ever imagine. Something words just can't express the feeling. The owners are sweet sweet couple with a lot of good willing.

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. What a view! We got a balcony room overlooking the mountain and towns below, as well as the pool and cute bar area downstairs. The room itself is quite small, but the bed was great and we really stayed here to be near the scenic area and Fisgas de Ermelo, the truly epic waterfall within a 20 minute drive of the property through the beautiful mountain area. The host was great, friendly to talk to and gave us some great tips (plus a quite good affordable bottle of wine for the evening). Make sure to bring dinner with you or stop before you come for the evening as there is nothing in the immediate area. Breakfast was quite good too. There is also a pool and hot tub, although it was too cold for us to use those (even in July). Overall, if you're driving through the area, it's worth a stop!

A barbecue is available on site and both hiking and fishing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Located at the end of the road surrounding the beautiful valley, we’ve been delighted by Joachim’s cabin, it’s super confortable and perfect for a few days, and the nature around is just beautiful. Joachim and his wife have been so nice and helpful, it’s difficult to not recommend this place. Thank you again.

Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary is 31 km from the lodge, while Lamego Museum is 30 km from the property. The nearest airport is Viseu, 58 km from Casa do eirô, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Wonderful host. Nice house with beautiful garden.
