I cannot say enough good words about my stay here. From the moment I entered the house I felt welcomed, safe, and very much peaceful. From the views, to the locations, to the amazing breakfast that is provided, I am absolutely happy that I found this place. The overnight oats were so good and the hot scrambled eggs really were a great way to start the day. I highly recommend stay here one, two or even a week. They are splendid hosts!

Within 5 minutes’ walk of Killarney Train Station and town centre, Kingfisher Lodge offers well-appointed rooms and a quiet urban setting. I am such an Gilmore Girls fan, and this gave me Gilmore Girls vibes so much. Location great. Very clean and comfortable.

Two mornings…. Lovely east facing deck to sit out and view the rising morning sun or the stars at night and the lights of Lisdoon in the distance, warmed by a wood fired chimera. We booked immediately after visiting a friend who stayed there. Peaceful, amazing views, cosy and warm during a very wet and windy few days. All the facilities we needed and the shower was fabulous. Jonathan was a great host. Relaxed and helpful, allowing us a late checkout which gave us a few extra hours in this lovely place. The welcome treats included breakfast items and some Guinness which we enjoyed :-) .

We had an amazing stay at the beautiful Hazel Hut. The location was magical, with Croagh Patrick in full view through the windows of the hut every morning. The sheep and donkeys really added to the country atmosphere too :) The hut itself is gorgeous and has everything you could need or want. We spent one of our evenings enjoying the landscape, drinking tea and reading some books left in the hut. It is only a twenty minute drive from Westport, so we also enjoyed heading into town for dinner. The next morning, we set off to climb the mountains. Would highly recommend it, and we are already looking forward to paying another visit soon. Thank you so much x
