Hajo's Germania Lodge & Irish Pub has been family-run since 1551. The hotel offers a welcoming atmosphere in its 1920s-style Irish pub. At weekends, rock music is played in the in-house cellar bar.

We loved everything. The view of the river, how spacious the rooms were, the quaintness of the building, the friendly staff, the pub downstairs, the location. Everything was perfect.

    Situated above the town and interestingly through a forest. Old hunting lodge converted tastefully. Excellent food and service - Volker was outstanding company and provided great service

    Quiet charming small village on the bank of Ruhr. Not so many people in the middle of the week so could enjoy the peace and slow life. At the same time it's very remote area and nearest store, kiosk or supermarket are just in other towns few kilometers away.
