Upper tier buzzy with trams and hundreds of locals fishing.
Upper tier buzzy with trams and hundreds of locals fishing. Lower tier has many restaurants. We ate there twice (once very good and fair prices, the other OK food but ridiculously expensive). Moral is do careful research and check prices, especially fish and drinks. Some places are very pushy.

Avoid eating in one of these restaurants if you want to save your budget! Much better to try the experience of a fishbread on the nearby boats for as little as 50 turkish lira, a very live experience among local people. This makes the difference between a real voyager and a reach tourist

The proximity to major visiting sites (Sultanahmet mosque, Haghia Sophia, Museum of Archeology, Gulhane park, Eminonu with its Egyptian Bazaar and Galata bridge), dozens of restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance, access to tram. The diverse and rich breakfast and the views over the Bosphorus were a plus. Very clean and quiet room, great value for money.
The location is very good, you can walk to the main touristic attractions, also ferry stations of karakoy and eminonu are walking distance.
Very good breakfast with amazing view of the Galata Bridge, Suleymaniye and Agia Sophia.
Great location- metro station, Galata bridge , and ferryboat station are just 10 minute walk away from the hotel.
It has the most amazing view from rooftop terrace (from where you can enjoy your breakfast), and the manager at the reception was very polite and kind; he can find you good deals for trips in Istanbul.
The room, altough small, has a kettel, water, minibar and great, new bathroom.
Also, we could leave our luggage after a check-out, and take a long walk before our flight.
In overall, all praise to the hotel and its staff!
Hotel is located in a quiet place, away from main streets, but in the same time it's so close to Galata bridge, Galata Tower, old city, Karakoy streets, Galataport, tram station and more. The rooms were clean, simple but stylish. Loved the spacious breakfast area on the rooftop that had beautiful views. The breakfast offered a good variety of different dishes.
The hotel is located in a close proximity to main attractions and areas, like Galata Tower, Galata bridge, old city, Galataport and Karakoy. It's also very convenient in regard to access to public transport like trams, buses and ferries. There are many F&B places in Karakoy area, just few steps from the hotel.
On the positive side, the location was excellent, as the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the Galata Tower and about 10 minutes from the Galata Bridge, making it easy for guests to explore the city. If the quality of service and food is improved, the hotel would be an ideal place to stay in Istanbul
Nice Boutique Hotel in the center of Sultanahmet. Presents a great overall value for a location that becomes walkable for the major sites of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Galata Bridge. Rooms are comfortable and functional and the breakfast included was very good. Staff was perfect - all helpful and very attentive and can assist with booking tours, cars, or anything you need during your stay.
Everyone on the staff, the reception, the manager, the cleaning staff, was very helpful, always available and super friendly, and made us feel welcome and gave us the best chai in town all the time. The breakfast was on a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. There is also another open terrace with a wonderful view of the city, the sea, the blue mosque and the islands. In front of the hotel are very good restaurants. Metro is very close and it takes you straight to the Galata Bridge. The bed was very comfortable, not too hard, not too soft.
The location was exceptional! Just a few minutes walk from Galata Bridge and in the center of Karakoy cafes and restaurants with vibrant night life. It was also close to Galata Tower and connecting tram lines that can get you anywhere you want.
The rooms were clean, and the hotel staff were changing sheets and towels every day. Also, Erol the guy from the reception was really helpful and he was there for anything we needed to be fixed. They also were very responsive with providing a crib for our baby.
The location is perfect. 80 m from Marmaray Sirkecy train station which has excellent connection to Sabiha Gokcen airport. 5 min walk to Hagia Sophia and to the Galata Bridge. Well connected with almost any part of Istanbul. The neighborhood is full of bars and restaurants. We were upgraded to a larger room and given breakfasts for free.

What Guests Said About Galata Bridge:
We finished by walking across the Galata bridge and back through the Sultanahmet area back to our hotel, after stopping at a rooftop restaurant for dinner first
Highly recommend exploring the different neighborhoods by foot. We walked down to the ferries from our hotel and then hopped on a ferry over to another part of Istanbul (Üsküdar), Then walked around there, had lunch and then took another ferry to a different location (Käbatas). After exploring around there, we took a taxi to Ïstiklal street. We meandered down to Taksïm Square for people watching and then walked all the way to Galata Tower. We finished by walking across the Galata bridge and back through the Sultanahmet area back to our hotel, after stopping at a rooftop restaurant for dinner first.

I advice try to avoid the fish restaurants under the Galata Bridge as they can trap you very easy
People can go to any restaurant, but before the order they must confirm the menu price. I found Asia side is not only cheap but you can get good quality restaurants. I advice try to avoid the fish restaurants under the Galata Bridge as they can trap you very easy.
