There are convenience stores close by as well as many bars and restuarants in Kyoto station. The hotel is clean and comfortable. We had two bedrooms, in Western and Japanese style, so you can choose which one you prefer. I liked the onsen and the amenities they provide there. Only a 10 minute walk to the main Kyoto Station.
