Loved the beach and its uniqueness!
Loved the beach and its uniqueness! It was amazing for cliff jumping too!! I’d recommend going later in the afternoon when there is more sea movement. And please respect this beautiful and unique beach by leaving no trash there and plastic bottles. There are a few trash receptacles but when we were there they were flowing over. It is a bit of a hike to get to areas where you can swim but definitely worth the walk!!

This beach is a "must visit" place on Milos, although this is not a place to spend the whole day (as it is only limestone without any trace of shadow). But the landscape is amazing, the water is incredible and one ones arrived must jump from the cliffs in the crystal water. Choose a non windy day and with low waves!

Visit the right side as there is a ship wreck! As you go into the bay, keep walking into the “bush” and you will come across a labyrinth of tunnels. Be mindful of the seaweed- 5 people went to hospital during our stay as they were burnt and blistered by it

Loved Sarakiniko!
Loved Sarakiniko! Amazing place to wander & a gorgeous water to swim in. The beach itself (ie the sand at the edge of the water) is not extensive so sunbathing is done on the rocks around the water. With the rocks being white & having no shade except that from one tiny tree, the area gets very hot. There are no services at the beach either - no toilets, cafes etc so you need to be prepared. The path down the hill to the beach is uneven so care should be taken if you have mobility problems. Well worth the trip though, just gorgeous!AAnonymousAustralia

In case anything is missing the family is available at all times to make sure you have a perfect stay in Milos. 100% recommended. Sarakiniko beach (my favorite spot) is located 5min away by car.

The owner, Margarita, and her husband was Very helpfull. The hotel is a bit far Away (3-4 km) from a city and restaurants and since I didnt rent a car Margarita helped me with contact informations to a taxi and the schedule of the busses. The last day she drove me to Adamas. One night I walked to Plaka, it took me about an hour. The hotel is great if you want to be near Sarakiniko Beach. I enjoyed everything at my stay.CamillaDenmark
