    I couldn't go up the steep access stairs so bought a brochure, Walked to the chapel and around the area. It was beautiful Blue Badge people can park right up next to the castle and there are toilets where you park. Very convenient.

    Although I expected some Monty Python scene coming there I felt very inspired to learn more about the Scottish history after seeing this castle. It is a beautiful example of how people used to live. Highly recommended.

    Interesting old castle and surrounds.

    Interesting old castle and surrounds. We get there very early in the morning as soon as it opened, even though it was a quiet time of the year. Just so nice to sit and absorb the atmosphere and history of the place. View from the top quite amazing.

    Wish I’d gone here. Looks interesting.

    Wish I’d gone here. Looks interesting. A stroll around Dunollie Castle grounds is lovely but paying admission to see the castle ruin (tiny) and the servants’ quarters of the private house was singularly unimpressive. Ditto the museum. On the bright side 6 quid is not that much and the grounds are beautiful.

    Interesting. Beautiful in the Spring with bluebells. People were friendly. Only we couldn't climb the stairs, so we just admired it from outside, but chapel was reachable for us (legs not in best condition)
