One of the most stunning ruins of a medieval castle I have been to so far. You can check out some more pictures on my YouTube channel @MyViewsOfTheWorld. This is a great place to visit, but go on a clear, sunny day. Lots of steps involved, so be aware.

Albany Lodge was a wonderful place to stay in Portrush. The owner and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful large room at the top with a beautiful view of the beach with Dunluce Castle in the distance (binoculars may be required to see it). The breakfast was excellent. I'm sorry that we could stay there for only one night!

I like all aspects of my stay. Caroline is a friendly and caring host that did her best to makes us feel at home. She gave us a lift to Dunluce Castle, which offers spectacular ocean views and easy access to the Whiterocks Beach. You can reach Portrush within 1h walk round the beach while enjoying the beautiful seascapes and the rumbling sound of the waves. The town also offers a good range of delicious eateries at affordable prices.
