There was no refrigerator available and also no coffee and tea facilities. The furnishing is old-fashioned, but most likely the hotel will call it; vintage. The armchairs were completely sagging.

Beds are comfortable and whilst at night the noise in front of the hotel is not too much, closing the windows may keep the room too warm for your comfort. We had a great stay for a weekend.

Walking distance to the old town and the main shopping street and the major sights - Old Bridge, Heidelberg Castle, Christmas Markets. Apartment was big and cosy and host was friendly. She met us upon arrival to hand us the keys and show us the apartment. We enjoyed our 2 nights' stay in the apartment. Heating was sufficient too.

Sebastian, our host, was very charming and helpful and gave us a good deal for our room plus breakfast. He also ordered a taxi for us to return to train station when we were leaving.

The staff are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The place was all clean, and sanitized (there are hand sanitizers in all the common areas). The decoration in the rooms, toilets, kitchen, etc. is very unique (paying attention to every single detail). I enjoyed my stay a lot and would definitely come back :)
