If you come by train you can take the metro (M2) right to the 'Ours' stop, and the hotel and its restaurant are right across the street. They don't do breakfast (although there is after all a restaurant) but there's a nice café right across the street.

Subway is just next door and the hotel gave a free 24-hours day pass for us to get around. So no need to drive in the city. Has a lot of parking lots which is a bit surprise to me.

Good location (the metro station is just at the hotel) close to the different schools and universities and not too far from downtown Lausanne.

The room was really clean and the staff was really helpful. After I gave a few info about myself I was able to checking to the hotel after the official opening hours. Wi-fi was really good :) The train station is around 1 km away from the hotel but there is a subway around 400 m away. The public transport is awesome and you get free transport tickets from the hotel during your whole stay :)

The location on the port is ideal, with cafes and restaurants nearby, also a convenient small supermarket with long opening hours. The free public transport ticket offered by the hotel makes getting to and from the city centre using the nearby metro very straightforward. The restaurant downstairs is good (although, of course, twice as expensive as its equivalent in Belgium or France).

The staff was super nice, warm and hospitable. Was exceptionally clean. For tea lovers - there was lots of jasmine green tea so big kudos for that one. Beds and pillows were really comfortable. Special thanks for not bugging me all the time and respecting my privacy. And finally HUGE thanks for all the free caramels my kids and I profusely helped ourselves with:)!Ljubica Tasić KennedySerbia

The atmosphere of the hotel felt good for a family vacation. Microwave at our disposal to sterilise my new born baby bottles. Free station to recharge our rental electric car.
