Very scenic position. Lovely rustic feel to the rooms & the whole site. Great decoration in the rooms & the bathroom/shower was very luxurious. Rooms had everything you needed. Bed was so comfy. Food was absolutely delicious, both breakfast & dinner.
Such a lovely, rustic, homely place - this was our second visit. The food is amazing - we had dinner and breakfast there and both were equally good! Nice room - not the biggest but cosy with a very comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and helpful.
Very dog friendly and excellent food and service, historic Inn
Historic inn, little changed and unspoilt for hundreds of years. Beautiful village setting. Amazing room with more original walls and beams than you could imagine! Good beers at the bar. Dining room gorgeous with good dinner and breakfast.
We liked the rustic setting of the New Inn in a remoter part of the Cotswolds. The Inn is of interesting and characterful features fitting of the period in which it was built. It was also convenient to be able to drink and dine in one place. There was bottled water provided for refreshment as well as a good choice of tea and coffee, with a coffee machine provided. The staff were generally efficient and pleasant throughout our stay.
The room was a little rustic, but clean and comfy. It was nice to have a little couch to sit on after a long day of hiking around. The breakfast was very good and the dinner we enjoyed in the pub far exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great sunset view of rooftops from the top of the stairs.
Authentic historic inn. Staff were attentive and efficient.
such a lovely historic inn, right in the centre of town
Great location, super dog friendly, with fantastic walks on the doorstep and by the river. Breakfast was great, with our dog welcome too! Dinner was delicious and the waiters who served us were absolutely fantastic! The New Year’s Eve celebration was great fun, the band were superb and we really appreciate the attentiveness of the staff on the evening. Hotel is beautifully decorated in a rustic natural style.
