All the girls were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Very high quality furniture and linens, handed down from generations, I was told. We had a nice garage to store our bicycles, and were snug as bugs in our 2nd floor room. Breakfast was wholesome and delicious. Did I mention the furnishings? We were humbled by three generations of beautiful, strong women. I wanted to stay and hear more of their stories and the history of the place.

Zelo prijetno gostišče ob kolesasrki poti. Zelo dobra kuhinja, tako zajtrk kot večerja, kjer so bile na dovoljo domaće, loklane jedi. Zelo čista in mirna soba sredi travnikov.

This guesthouse is situated within the historic walls of Kloster Weltenburg, the oldest monastery in Bavaria. It lies in the Weltenburger Enge conservation area, near the romantic River Danube. Once the day visitors leave the monastery a quiet peace pervades. With a fresh monastery beer in hand you can sit on the pebble beach of the Danube and enjoy a warm summer night whilst cooling you feet in the water.
