This family-run guest house is located in Görisried, in the Ostallgäu countryside. It offers free Wi-Fi, bowling alley and home-made regional cuisine. The owner and staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. It was unfortunate that there was a regional Covid lockdown and the restaurant was closed but they made it easy to bring a takeaway back to the hotel. Breakfast was served at the table instead of the buffet to avoid contact The hotel is in the centre of the village but was quiet and only a few miles from the Autobahn They are very dog friendly! I will be staying there again next year.

Staff were very friendly, and they speak good English. The breakfast was very good, with many options. The room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. The shower was really good. It's located in the heart of the city, so you can easily walk to places. It's close to the train station. We did everything on foot. I really liked the experience, and I would definitely go back!

Every day the room was very good cleaned and we were very happy with the soundproof of the room. Room was big, good shower and well equipped kitchenette.

Beautiful location, comfortable huge room that fit our whole family comfortably. Lovely breakfast. My kids had so much fun at the playground and petting the horses. We were just there for an overnight on our way to another place, but my kids did not want to leave.

Cafe Maria - Pension - B&B is set in Rieden am Forggensee, 31 km from Garmisch-Partenkirchen and 40 km from Oberstdorf. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. This property exceeded our expectations. The view from our balcony overlooking the lake was so delightful. The breakfast was presented so well with lots of variety. The beds were just right for us. The staff spoke English and were always available.
