Set in Galway and within 400 metres of Ladies Beach, Black Cat features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The property is around 700 metres from Grattan Beach, 2.4 km from St. Nicholas Collegiate Church and 2.7 km from Eyre Square. Galway Greyhound Stadium is 4 km away and Ballymagibbon Cairn is 40 km from the inn.

This place was very lovely and comfortable. It is 15-20 minutes far from the Galway city center so you can walk down even if the weather is not rainy. There is also bus from the center and you can reach in 10 minutes from city center. There are nice restaurants and Salthill beach around this place. You can walk around and enjoy the view or even swim in Atlantic. Even if my room was little small, it was very clean and I was happy. The bathroom was also very clean and big enough. There were clean towels also. There were free coffee and tea whenever you want. I enjoyed my 2 nights stay and I can recommend this place to my friends.

The room was spotlessly clean, the beds super comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful during our stay. Fantastic city centre location, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Looking for an inn?

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

A good breakfast even though a bit laborious as you had to choose every bit from a rather difficult menu. Good pub with fresh Guinnes served etc. for worn out travellers ;=)

Very clean hotel. The bed was very comfy. Great food in the restaurant for dinner and a good selection for the breakfast in the morning including teas and coffee, a nice fruit selection including pineapple, grapefruit and melon as well as pastries and eggs and sausages etc. Easy to check out as can do it online.

The location is good, you can walk to the most touristic places in 30 minutes, also the common area had a kitchen where we could prepare dinner.

Laura and Tom were amazing Hosts. Very Kind and helpful. At Night we watched the northern Lights. Also the cinnamon buns made by Laura are one of a Kind. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and the farm on which the accommodation is located is breathtaking. If you want to have an memorable time in Ireland i can recommend to stay at the Furthest Point West.

Stayed as a group booking - fantastic staff from booking to when we got to hotel. Ate dinner in hotel - food was top quality. Always hard to please everyone in a group but this group was absolutely delighted with the hotel stay and the birthday lady celebrating her 60th had the best time. Every single staff member we encountered has excellent customer service. Well done - very hard in a hospitality industry. We are all recommending to all of our friends and family and will definitely be back when we are next in Galway.
