We are Herman & Luc from Belgium. In 2018 we discovered this Bed & Breakfast and we immediately loved it. But also Góis as a village, the beautiful nature, the beautiful mountain landscape and the friendly people convinced us to come and live here. We enjoy spoiling our guests and as hobby chefs we can pamper them daily with homemade products such as granola, yogurt, various jams and chocolate paste. But also the sandwiches, cakes, wafers or biscuits are always homemade. Tasty espresso coffee or tea as you like it, is part of this of course. Just that little bit more, that's what we're going for.

Casa Carvalhal, completely renovated in 2019, is a modern and luxurious Bed & Breakfast equipped with all comforts. The spacious rooms each have their own bathroom and are warm and contemporary decorated thanks to the frequent use of wood and cork. Smart TV's and fast fiber internet are of course present. 4 of the 6 rooms have a private terrace. The other rooms can enjoy the large covered communal terraces, where we also serve breakfast when the weather is nice. When the weather is not so good, breakfast is served in the guests' living room, which also has a self-service bar and a free coffee corner. From 2020 we will add a heated swimming pool with a lovely sun terrace. Enjoy the luxury, the view of the mountains, the tranquility. Arrive as a guest, leave as a friend.

Our house is located on the hill Carvalhal, within walking distance of the center of Góis which is known for its river beaches with crystal clear water, the beautiful nature around and the many mountain villages. Our guests especially appreciate the authenticity of the region, the friendly people, the delicious food in the restaurants in the village at very reasonable prices. Mass tourism is still far away.
