This traditional house, built in 1920 and renovated recently, is located in the famous traditional village of Olympos in Karpathos island. The house contains an open plan room with the traditional "soufas" bed that used to be the room for the newlywed couple celebrated their marriage and was visitable only during the celebration of a big event. The other room has another one traditional "soufas" bed that used to be the rest and sleeping place for women and men after work and includes also a kitchen. The bathroom is located outdoors at the yard, as traditionally used to be. The house has also a very beautiful and big yard with grapes that used as shadow during the summer time. The house includes all the needed facilities to spend a great holiday in the village. Nomads, artists, lonely people, adventurous souls, star watchers and people who try to find themselves belong to the unique Olympos Traditional House. This house is only 3 minute walking distance from the center church and the “Selai” of the village.
