I liked the decor and size of the room, and the bed was so comfortable, one of the best sleeps I have had. The addition of the ear plugs in the room was a nice touch considering you are sleeping above a busy pub, which caused no noise bother that night anyway.

This 19th-century coaching inn is located in the heart of Chester city centre. There is a 4-star award-winning restaurant downstairs and 8 rooms above. Our Head Chef and talented kitchen team serve traditional British cuisine using hand-selected produce sourced from local suppliers. Chester Racecourse is just a 10-minute walk from The Coach House, and the famous Chester Zoo is just 15 minutes journey by car. The vibrant city of Liverpool and beautiful countryside of North Wales can both be reached within a 30 minutes’ drive.
