Excellent food, was there on a Monday so it was pub quiz and bingo which was good fun, great vibe in the pub. Room spacious and comfortable. Bathroom dated but clean and perfectly functional.
Didn't arrive till 8.30 at night and was tired. The staff in bar was very nice and as was landlord the following morning but unfortunately the stay at the kings head was a total nightmare. Room smelled foul and the twin bed mattresses was not fit to sleep on just fit for nearest skip as covered in bad urine stains. There was no spoons with cups and saucers for your hot drinks ,the shower was dangerous as scolding hot but unable to reduce temperature so had to rinse body of soap in sink. Television no signal was horrendous and because the room was so dirty my husband and myself never bothered with breakfast because it put us both off. The kings head is a waste of good money if you decide to stay there as it will only be a let down as reviews saying it's good is very untrue and very far off the mark. Anyone thinking of booking there even for one night do yourselves a favour and keep your money as you'd be better off in a one man tent

Warrington isn't a romantic town but our stay was just about getting away on my birthday from the Hustle and bustle of general life. Warrington centre from this hotel is within easy walk with plenty of history, drinking and eateries. Basic getaway for down time with my wife. Lovely weekend.

Great atmosphere, the hotel was lovely and quiet despite there being lots of other guests and a 24hr bar. There’s a free pool table in the bar and lots of comfy sofas. The room was super clean and there the shower was lovely and hot. Great hotel, we were there for a wedding and would stay there again.

A good location if you don't want the busy-ness of Manchester or Liverpool but with those cities within easy train distance. A short train ride to Chester also. Halliwell Jones Stadium is the main draw. The Barley Mow in the Market Square is a great little pub with excellent pub grub.

All good except the TV wasn't functioning properly, so therefore didn't have that use during my stay. The receptionist blamed the weather as his also was providing fuzzy lined screen. In the adjacent cafe's all screens were working. I suggest the engineerneeds to fine tune the settings. I
think I was in room 8, down the corridor on left side.Other that not having TV to unwind after travelling , everything else was very good. Local eating facilities excellent, within the precinct.

We were only there for one night and breakfast the next morning but seems like a nice town, it has a good carvery there called Toby's with great meal deals, we had an excellent buffet breakfast! 😊
The hotel staff were great, as a non-chain hotel you sometimes get mixed experiences but this was really good.
The room was small but had everything I needed. More like staying at a friend's house than a hotel. Occasionaly noise from the ground floor bar but nothing that was bothersome, even on Friday and Saturday nights.
Good location, easy motorway access and while I didnt eat at the hotel there are plenty of nearby locations too.
We were pleased when we arrived at the hotel, the reception area looked gorgeous with all the Christmas decorations. The reception staff were very good and explained everything thoroughly. We had a few drinks in the bar on the evening and it was nice and peaceful and not too busy. We had breakfast in the morning and although it was packed, the queue for food went down quickly, the beverage machine was always busy though.
The staff were so friendly and could not have done more for us and it really is a pet friendly hotel. The room was quiet despite being close to the motorway junction and was clean with a great shower. Breakfast was excellent and the staff again very attentive, well done Team Warrington. It was a budget price and so the facilities were as expected but the staff made it a great stay.
Lovely hotel in a great location only 10 minutes walk to the centre of town but in a quiet area
Food in the restaurant was excellent although I didn't have breakfast, only dinner, loved the fact that there was Netflix available in the room. The bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and will definitely
stay again.
I’ve used this hotel three times as a break on my journey from home in Scotland to my family in London.
It is conveniently located just off of junction 21 of the M6.
The room and bed were very comfortable as is usual.
The evening meal and also the breakfast were also good.
I will stay here again definitely.
The best thing about this place was the staff who from the lady on reception to the ladies in trhe restaurant weere all lovely and helpful. The room was a bog standard hotel room and had no problems. It was located close to the station so that was fine and the food in the restaurant was good.
The hotel is of old ancient style. The room is not big but the bathroom is newly renovated. The location is good because the Warrington Central Station is opposite to the hotel. The breakfast was made after our order. The omelette was delicious. We could leave luggage there after check-out.
Everything! It was a perfect base to take the children to nearby Gulliver's World. The little play park next to the property was excellent for the children. Easy public transport links into the centre of Warrington. Places to eat, pubs, shops, all nearby. Neat and tidy property.
Architecture of the property is interesting as this is a church converted in to apartments. Location of the property is very close to the Warrington town centre which is very convenient. Host is very quick in responding to your queries and requirements.
I really the staff were very helpful and were always on hand if you needed any help, whether that’s checkout, breakfast or general information about the hotel. Also is literally opposite Warrington bank station which is ideal.
Great location, very handy for Warrington Town Centre and Stockton Heath Village. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good and bar area really nice. Our overall stay was good value for money.
Comfortable room well presented. Outstanding customer service from hosts. Very quiet house even with a young child there. Good location just outside of Warrington town. I would book again
Pub: food great; breakfast & dinner prices were both reasonable. Staff very friendly & helpful.
Hotel: modern exterior and plenty of well-lit car parking. Generally clean & good size room.
We like the location of the hotel with its close proximity to the Stretton Fox restaurant and our relatives in Runcorn whom we travel to visit every 6 months or so.
