Coleil Cottage is a cosy 2 bedroom cottage overlooking the bay in the village of Sheshader, situated on the Point Peninsula on the East side of the Isle of Lewis. This 2 bedroom cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests with a travel cot available on request. The cottage comprises of a living room and dining area with 42inch Freeview Smart HD TV, kitchen, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, shower room, porch with utility area. The cottage is fresh and clean with full central heating throughout making it warm, cosy and an ideal retreat. Our cottage has WIFI and mobile signal. Outdoors there is a small decking area and also a small shed for storage of bikes etc.

We have both lived on the island all our lives and are native Gaelic speakers. Living on the Isle of Lewis we enjoy peace, nature and a unique cultural community surrounded by lots of fresh air and open spaces.

Hill and sea views surround the cottage, it has lovely views across The Minch to the Mainland mountains. You can stroll through the croft down to the shore where you can enjoy some rock fishing. A trout loch is around a half hour moor walk away from the cottage. There is animal life around every corner, from the sheep on the crofts to the dolphins, basking sharks, minke whales, harbour porpoises that are often seen. Seals are quite often on the shore in the bay, and otters, if you are lucky enough to spot them. You can spot plenty birds too, from the common garden birds to Skuas and Sea eagles. There is a small playpark in the village.
