Azores Inn - Family Suites is set in Ponta Delgada, within 24 km of Sete Cidades Lagoon and 25 km of Lagoa Verde. the place was very clean and modern.. We had a room with q balcony. Very good facilities.

Very clean room, location in the center of Ponta Delgada, which was very convenient, and parking was available around the block (payment needed, though). The staff was very polite and helpful!

Situated in Ponta Delgada and with Pico do Carvao reachable within 12 km, Magma Hostel features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. The location in Old Town was excellent! I loved having a private room ensuite with the shared kitchen and living spaces. The balcony was a nice space to have a glass of wine and relax. The entire hostel was spotless and well appointed. The shower was hot with good pressure. Free street parking or nearby lot parking was available. The host was friendly and responded to all inquiries quickly, even walked my husband to the nearest market for sundries on our first day.

Set in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao, BRUMA HOSTEL offers air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. perfect place to stop. everything is clean, a reliable closet for things, many balconies, a calm family atmosphere. you can see that the owner did everything with love, the breakfast is amazing. I couldn't find a single reason I didn't like. the location is also convenient. the owner drove to the airport by the time of the plane. I recommend wholeheartedly

Very good breakfast with both savory and sweet options, fresh fruits, coffee or tea. 24h access to the kitchen (there is possibility to cook as there is stove, oven, pots, cutting board and more!) with big fridge where you can leave anything (even marker and sticker are provided to mark your food). The fridge also makes drinkable water or ice cubes. In the small patio you can find ping pong table! Reception is friendly, ready to help, speaking fluent English. Code sistem makes it possible to arrive any time of a day. Rooms are big and spacious, with much space for unpacking clothes. Bathroom big as well, clean.

13 km from Pico do Carvao, Pé Direito is located in Ponta Delgada and provides air-conditioned rooms. So, I'm normally not a fan of shared accommodation as I like to have my privacy. However, reading the reviews here I gave this one a chance and boy, I'm sure glad I did! The interior is modern and welcoming and everything is kept super clean. There are two private bathrooms which are shared, but only one person can use them at a time, which is great! There's a big fully equipped kitchen at your disposal and when I say fully, I mean FULLY. It has a dishwasher, an oven, all the utensils you might need and also many shared food items like spices, sauces, condiments etc. After you've eaten, you can have a smoke on the cozy little terrace. The bedrooms have three bunk beds. The beds themselves are comfortable. Maybe I was lucky with roommates, but there was a kind of unwritten rule that the bedroom is a "quiet" zone - as in if you wanted to have a phone call, watch loud videos etc while someone was sleeping, you went to the living room instead. Most people respected this, although not 100% of the time, but that comes with staying in a shared place I guess. The location of the hostel is central, just a few steps from the seaside. Many restaurants and bars nearby. I recommend visiting the military museum, which is very close to the hostel as well! Last but definitely not least, Ana was an amazing hostess. She speaks English very well, she's very pleasant and quick to respond if you're in trouble. I prefer going along my own axis, but others have said that she's capable of arranging/giving advice for almost anything for you on the island. I ended up staying longer than expected, only leaving for a private accommodation when I needed peace and quiet for my work. That being said, many people actually worked from this hostel without an issue! This was just a personal preference of mine. Again, thank you for the hospitality. I will definitely come back if I'm in the Azores again!

Objekt The Nook Hostel nalazi se u mjestu Ponta Delgada. Gostima su na raspolaganju zajednički sadržaji, među kojima i zajednički salon s TV-om ravnog ekrana. Clean and lovely accommodation with great breakfast. Ricardo was very responsive and incredibly helpful in organising tours and car rental and helping to plan my time on the island. Mariana went above and beyond to make my stay memorable :)
