The staff was lovely, very welcoming and helpful. They gave me the best places to visit and told me where to go surfing every day. The rooms were great, each with a fan, a bedlamp and 2 outlets. The common area was especially enjoyable, you can find people chilling there at any hour and everyone is very open and friendly. The hostel held a great party on Saturday with an awesome dj. Overall great experience, I highly recommend!

Located in General Luna and with General Luna Beach reachable within a few steps, El Lobo Hostel provides a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. One of the best hostel I went to. The owners are so welcoming and nice that you feel like home. They are caring about everyone well being, what’s really appreciable. The accommodations are simple but very clean and comfortable. Beds are equipped of curtains, plug socket, and comfortable blanket and the bedrooms have air conditioners and fans. Plus, towels are included. The location is perfect if you like going out at night, all the main bars and clubs are really close but the hostel is also a cozy place where you can chill during the day. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights in this hostel and it turns out I stayed for one month.

Hostel Bajala Siargao features a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in General Luna. The hostel was clean, comfortable and serene so I had a wonderful stay. I stayed 4D3N at Bajala and would definitely come back. They have strong wifi everywhere so I was able to work remotely. The property is also facing the beach which I really love.

Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. was a great vibe and the staff really make you feel part of the family with nights out and chill nights in where everyone is playing guitar, drinking and eating together

Situated in General Luna, 1.4 km from General Luna Beach, Hiraya Surf Hostel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. 8 months travelling around the world I haven’t seen a hostel like this. I was feeling at home from the first minute when I arrived at the Hiraya. The staff knows your name from the minute you check-in and they are very caring. No matter the request - they’ll find a solution. I just love how they are like a big chosen family and make you feel like you’re a part of it. I was a bit nervous about the 18 beds in one dorm but everybody in the hostel is very attentive - once the lights are off at 10PM, people would only tiptoe around with their flashlights on. Had the best sleep in those comfy beds. Also, the rooms and facilities were super clean. I’m gonna miss this place and its people big times!

Mad Monkey Hostel Siargao in General Luna provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The Staff is just brilliant! Thank you for having me. Its the perfect hostel as a solo traveller, very social environment, perfect to meet ppl. If you dont wanna party every night, no worry.. at 10pm you go out with the entire hostel, so it gets rly quite.

Situated in General Luna, 600 metres from General Luna Beach, Sinag Hostel features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. I've been looking forward to writing this review. I hope I do it justice! This place is like your Filipino college bestie taking you home with them...only to find yourself with an international family waiting to greet you also. It's giving family, friends amongst surfers (and I don't even surf, but I tried it 😉 Thanks Daryl), and Filipino culture & hospitality at every turn. It's close to the major surfing spots, partying...if that's your thing, and eateries galore...but don't sleep on the mom & pop Carinderia spots (ahem, James is a 2 second walk away). I love how Sinag has planned activities everyone's invited to...board games, group outings and tours, and a NOT TO MISS Family Dinner every Wednesday. But it's no pressure if you don't want to participate, they will help you seamlessly plan your own adventure. The residents here are respectful...some are passing through, while others have been around for weeks, months, even years, or double back. They know the lay of the land and can get you oriented quickly. Sinag has 3 lounging dogs, Orange, Marley, and Bogart that you can't miss and a cat that you're lucky if you see her...I believe she owns the place but never leaves her penthouse suite, as she's the longest resident. If you're in Siargao, STAY HERE...you won't regret it! Tell them I sent you!
