I was looking for a place to stay for a few days to do nothing but rest and this place was perfect. I really felt at home, the living room was my lair. There is a grocery store 15 minutes by walk but to be fair I didnt go there since you can ask Egosan to cook for you (1000 ¥/meal). And let me tell you that he is a great cook. On the first evening he asked me what is my favorite Japanese dish and he made it the following day ! Since I was the only customer during my stay we spend time together, they even bring me with them to go to a good local restaurant and then they surprised me by going to a bakery since I said I wanted to try Japanese dessert. Once again, I had a really great time !

Hikone is so enjoyable. I borrowed a bicycle free of charge, and it was amazing to cycle around the lake, castle and downtown.

A very friendly person. I had a great stay. The location is perfect for cyclists who are cycling around Lake Biwa from Otsu.

Biwa-Lakeside Cottage B B Dylan ligger i Minami-komatsu, 24 km från Sanzen-in tempel, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Very welcoming and friendly staff. We had a great one-night stay and plan to visit again.
