The owner will show you local places that he really likes as well and it is wonderful to be able to go to those places rather than non-tourist spots. You really get to see a person in all the places he shared. He is extremely friendly and will really want to make you feel welcome and has put a lot of his heart and soul into this place.

It was really close to Osaka Castle, about 20mins of walking or 5mins cab. Also it so close to subway station, in between Sakaisuji Hommachi Station and Tanimachiyonchome Station, which you can access and go everywhere easily. The hostel is such a nice and clean place with friendly helpful staff, they do speak English so you don’t have to worry about asking anything. You have to pay for towels but to me it’s not that much so it’s fine. I specially love the 10th floor so much, with the view, and free tea and coffee as well ! About the food, you will have a big Family Mart really close, about 2 mins of walking. Otherwise, you have Sukiya Restaurant about 15mins walk, or some other local restaurants nearby. And I don’t really need to talk about vending machines, they are everywhere !! Even on the 10th floor of the hostel OMG ! I had a really unforgettable 6 days of stay there. Highly recommend for anyone travelling to Osaka !!
