The staff were super friendly from the start, there’s free coffee and lots of hammocks to relax in. The double room with balcony was really gorgeous- big enough for a hammock. Fan in room which was definitely needed. The kitchen was big and well stocked. Shower was hot.

The location was perfect for us, close to the centrum and close to the San Antonio Park, we liked to sit there in the night with a drink. Watching the locals making fun.There are many good restaurants nearby. Sandra is a hardworking person, from morning until night, all days she was very helpful, Our flight was to early, luckily we were allowed to check in earlier.

Adolfo is a such a warm person and really cares about his guests. He takes the time to get to know you and explained in detail the various places and activities to partake in in Cali. The other staff were also very kind and prepared breakfast for us in the morning which we enjoyed! The location is central and we felt pretty safe with many restaurants nearby, steps away from San Antonio park, and it is also close to Boulevard Rio (10-15ish minute walk) which we explored on the weekend with locals taking up the streets dancing salsa in the evening - I would highly recommend visiting! Almost everything is within walking distance from the hostel and Ubers are cheap for visiting Alameda market and the salsa museum in Obrero. The hostel was decorated nicely and felt homey, and the views on the terrace were stunning. I would 100% return back to this hostel if I came back to Cali!

Smeštajni objekat The View Hostel & Lounge ima vrt, zajednički salon, terasu i bar u gradu Kali. The location was great and the Hostel was great value. The staff were super attentive including Sandra the owner. I had a great massage while there as well as Salsa lessons. I was also given great suggestions for things to do which made my stay as a solo traveller really good. Definitely felt like part of the family.

An outdoor swimming pool and salsa lessons can be enjoyed in Cali, a 10-minute walk from the historical district. Wi-Fi is free and Chipichape Shopping Centre is a 15-minute drive. Be afraid of the host Keily, she will shower you with love and make your stay unforgettable :). Big shoutout to Orlando the security guard who always welcomes me back after a night out! Highly recommend this hostel!
