I moved to La Palmera from another Cali hostel and I’m so glad I did! The staff are lovely and super helpful and the hostel has a cozy, family vibe. It’s easy to socialise and there are planned activities every day and evening that you can opt into so you can go places as a group which is safer.

This is such a lovely hostel! The staff were super friendly from the start, there’s free coffee and lots of hammocks to relax in. The double room with balcony was really gorgeous- big enough for a hammock. Fan in room which was definitely needed. The kitchen was big and well stocked. Shower was hot.

And only 1 minute away from an amazing salsa dance school - Salsa Pura (can highly recommend both) Perfect stay! A lot of restaurants around, close to a lot of attractions and clubs.

I’ve been traveling South America for the last 5 months and this was definitely my favorite hostal. Adolfo and Ana (the owners) welcomed everyone like one of the family. I felt so much at home that I ended up staying a week instead of the 3 days initially planned. The breakfast was always nice. The location is perfect. The hostal has a huge terrace with a view over Cali. Great value for money. I could not recommend it more :)

칼리에 자리한 Helena Hostel에서는 공용 라운지, 테라스 등의 시설을 이용하실 수 있습니다. 숙소는 호르헤 이삭스 극장에서 1.7km, 팬아메리칸 파크에서 18분 거리에 있습니다. 근처에는 The Poet's Park, Modern Art Museum La Tertulia, Caycedo's Square 등의 인기 관광지가 밀집해 있습니다. Elena the owner is amazing. She is not nice and great to be around becuase of "customer service", although of course she delivers this exceptionally. She is just in fact a genuinly great person that also loves nice interaccións and to meet good people too. Personally, the things I look for most when travelling is to connect with local people and so by staying here this is the thing that I have most liked. The Location is excellent for learning to salsa and if you treat Elena and her home with respect, you are treated with the same and it becomes your home too.

The owners and staff were very accomodating. We had to travel on a moments notice and when we arrived we were cared for as if we were family. They truly made a stressful time much easier to bear.

An outdoor swimming pool and salsa lessons can be enjoyed in Cali, a 10-minute walk from the historical district. Wi-Fi is free and Chipichape Shopping Centre is a 15-minute drive. The vibes are immaculate Gorge
