It was also spacious, with an on-site safe box, and plenty of cupboard space. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. They made a big difference.

Such an amazing hostel in the middle of the beautiful Colombian nature. The other guests and the workers were so nice and made me feel home. Every night they have fun activities to gather the guests, and every day there’s different activities such as horseback riding and coffee farms at very reasonable prices. Would come back!

David Jaramillo Gomez was extremely hospitable. He helped me with everything I needed during my stay- restaurant recommendations, bus timings, laundry service, and more. We stayed at Casa Campesina when we were visiting Salento. The property is in close distance to the bus terminal which made it perfect to travel from Bogota and travel to Salento and back daily. It’s also close to the airport, and the hosts arranged airport stop-off so transportation is super easy! Unlike other hostels close to the bus terminal, this property is on a residential street and is super quiet and very safe neighborhood. The hosts are amazing, very helpful and friendly, we felt like we were staying at our grandparents’ house :) They accommodated early check-in and were already waiting for us at 6 am in the morning! Couldn’t have asked for more.

Set in Salento, 26 km from Santa Rosa de Cabal, Hostal Familiar Jerico features free WiFi access. Certain units include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Our hosts gave us the most warm and generous welcome, we really felt like home. They were very caring to us, gave great advice and even booked our bus tickets by calling the agency without us even asking! And what a nice place they have, our stay was a treat. Everything was perfect, highly recommended!

Definitely not a party hostel but travellers are super nice. Two bathroom for 6 people dorm is kind of nice.

Breakfast was excellent, staff incredibly friendly, They look they enjoy their work. Very lovely people
