The owner Julia is amazing host, very kind, friendly, always ready to help, ful of information. Place itself is like a little heaven, with amazing view and scenery, very peaceful and mind resting. The hostel and furniture are new. The ambience is very nice and everything is also nicely decorated. We loved staying there and we didn't have any need to go to Minca since the village is very noisy and busy. They have also very delicious breakfasts and dinners. Location is on the hill from where you have perfect starting point to the most attractive hikes and waterfalls. Place was one of the highlights of Colombia. Highly recommended.

Last but not least, the water is provided to the guests for free which is very rare in the entire country. Even this shows me how mindful Maria is.

It has a nice outdoor lounge area with hammocks, a private mirador 5min up the hill to watch the sunset, a beautiful garden, a well equipped kitchen, a bar in the afternoon, nice rooms, and friendly staff. Almost everyone we talked to wanted to stay at least a day longer than originally booked and for us it was clear why.

The Valley Tayrona hostel- A unique social jungle hostel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in El Zaino. I got a free Upgrade because I won a raffle in the evening. The Upgrade was amazing, great view, nice double bed, private shower and bathroom. The whole hostel is great too. Delicious food, nice common areas. Would definitely go again!

Mano Verde is a pearl hidden into the majestic Sierra Nevada... Doris is one of the best cook I ever met and every member of the staff/family was extremely kind and attentive. I felt at home in Mano Verde and I can't wait to come back!

Located in El Zaino, La Finca Lorena Tayrona features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Arrived at finca late, I came dying the low season so I was the only person there. As someone with very little Spanish and having been dropped off in the woods by a motor taxi across a river. (they're safe don't worry). I was a little skeptical and thinking "where the hell am I". I was quickly brought to my dorm room, no one was there - after coming from parting in Cali this was needed. I basically paid £9 or 45,000 pesos for a private ensuite Gonzalo looked after me and we had conversations through Google translate. He was so accommodating. Doing laundry, being attentive with delicious food. I would most certainly come back again. Remember to being cash - as most places in Tayrona take cash only. La Fonda were very accommodating and took care and so did Tayrona entrance I'd recommend this place to anyone, it is the essence on tranquil

Located in Santa Marta, less than 1 km from Bahía de Santa Marta Beach, Imagine hostel features air-conditioned rooms and a bar. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. Great hostel, very close to the center but also the market where you can find the main bus stop to Tayrona. The customer service at the hostel was amazing! They were very helpful. They also agreed to keep our bags when we went to Tayrona for 4 nights. The place was very clean. I highly recommend if you just need to sleep there a couple of nights on your way to Tayrona or Minca.
