It is a bit far from the center of the city, but less than I imagined. We usually went to the center with a 10 ~15 minutes walking without any problem and if you prefer, it is very easy to take a bus in the center of the city with less then 160 pesos that will take you until 2 squares from the hostel.

The common area is separated from the rooms by either the kitchen or multiple doors, so you can choose to be social or relax in a quiet room, it's very nice. The common area is also super cozy with lots of tables, outlets, games, books, etc., and it's a social atmosphere where it's easy to chat with other guests or meet people to go on hikes with. Also the kitchen is big, super functional, and it's another place where I met friends from the hostel.

Bariloche Hostel offers wonderful views of Nuhuel Huapi Lake, and is located in the centre of San Carlos de Bariloche. All of the simple rooms have heating, private bathrooms and lockers.

There is a shared lounge and a shared kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. The hostel also has a library, and a room where you can play board games. Excellent host. Really lovely private room with a great view of the lake. A very nice common area with a well equipped kitchen!
