This is such a lovely hostel! The staff were super friendly from the start, there’s free coffee and lots of hammocks to relax in. The double room with balcony was really gorgeous- big enough for a hammock. Fan in room which was definitely needed. The kitchen was big and well stocked. Shower was hot.

Warm welcome from Alfonso and the friendly staff. I felt home there. Very clean place, bed was confortable. Very well located in San Antonio, with a large choice of restaurants around. Everything morning a different breakfast composed of a bit of fresh fruits and a arepa with eggs.

I very much enjoyed my stay at The View Hostel & Lounge. The staff was exceptional.  They accommodated my very late arrival, seeing me to my "private room booking" quickly for some much needed sleep.  The breakfast was authentic and tasty.  The facilities are clean and very well kept (daily). The private suite I booked was fully functional, including TV, great air conditioning, clean linens, hot water for the shower, a safe for my valuables and plenty of power outlets. The management and reception went out of their way to provide information about local festivities and sites to visit.  They even provided me access to group Salsa lessons that were very enjoyable, even with my 2 left feet 😁 The View is nestled in the hills with a wonderful overlook of the city from a rooftop balcony.  Though my stay was not long enough to take advantage of, they have a bar and patios offering many refreshments, spa & massage services onsite upon request, along with private Salsa lessons in a basement dance hall.  The pool is a refreshing break to the humidity of Cali, and is well attended to. This is my new go-to place when I am in Cali, and will suggest to any of my friends visiting. I tip my hat to Sandra, manager Jose, Johan & Daniel in reception, and all other staff.  Very warm & friendly. For sure, new amigos & amigas. Elena is a wonderful host who treats her guests like family. She invited me to share a New Year's dinner with her family. Her place is safe, super clean and very comfortable. She is attentive and helpful. This hostel is a no-brainer for any foreigner visiting Cali. The location is wonderful, right beside an artist community and close to stores and restaurants.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. You instantly get a warm feeling when you check in, from the very friendly staff and the amazing open areas at the hostel. I ended up staying in the reception multiple times hanging out with David and Alfredo and many others working at Viajero. They shared tips, food and helped me practice my Spanish. So Nice! The hostel felt safe and it was extraordinary with all the free stuff included, for example salsa classes every day and yoga, as well as circus-shows. It was easier than ever to get help booking private salsa classes through the reception and several tours. I used the pool a lot, a perfect area both to relax and to play games, eat or have a drink at the bar. People are festive but in a way that even works for a person who enjoyes relaxing and having a chilled one. Very Nice breakfast to a good price as well. it is close to salsa clubs and I found a super Nice restaurant with beautiful art just 50m from the hostel. For me this could not get better!
