host was amazingly cordial,cheerful,loving.at first we were dissappointed as axalp was in a high area and oly ony on bus was there,but when we arrived we loved that place.

Bikes can be rented on site, and table tennis equipment and kayaks are also available for an additional free. Other outdoor activities, including river rafting, canoeing, sky diving, paragliding and bungee jumping, can be arranged at the hostel's reception.

Great location. You will have a wonderful view of sea or mountain. You can heat your food and get boiled water or coffee. That is nice. I will choose it next time if they have better mattresses.

    Very cozy clean place in a great location. The hosts were very helpful and constantly checked on us to make sure we were comfortable. The house had balcony, fire place, complete kitchen, a music system, tv etc.

    Great location. Absolutely great host. Gave us direction on how to get there out of hours. Even offered us a lift that we did not need in the end. But due to road closures.

    Great location with a view of the mountains. Even more beautiful than on the photos. Comfortable beds, extensive kitchen and every room has its own bathroom. The route uphill to the apartment takes about 15 minutes and from here you have great views of Lake Brienz. Next to the apartment is a small grocery store and halfway up the mountain is a traditional Swiss restaurant. The host was very nice and helpful and made a reservation for us at the restaurant. We can't wait to come back here!
