Lovely hostel, very nice staff to chat with (Scott). Excellent breakfast, place is very clean etc. Also very adequate response to a drunk guy in the room of the staff.
Larry is a great host ;) very sympathetic
Great location, had everything we needed, clean, great hosts. Free parking
Shauna was a great host! She helped me figure out how to get around Galway and beyond. Breakfast was amazing, with a ton of little extras.
The house is even bigger then we anticipated, all the rooms were lovely and came stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen, living room and everything was basically perfect and Deirdre was a lovely host who was a great help and very accomodating. I would highly recommend staying here, full 10/10 rating from our group.
Lovely hosts - thought about the little things to make the stay very comfortable. Location was excellent- off the main road and so close to the shore. Nice view from room 2. Large airy, very clean room. Shared kitchen/sitting room very comfortable and also had outdoor seating. Could be tricky if 3 couples needed to cook at a similar time but this wasn't an issue for us and we were able to cook a simple evening meal and enjoy the views. Small Tesco round the corner to purchase supplies. Continental breakfast provided was a bonus.
Very friendly host family. Very good breakfast.
The isolation, miles from anywhere. The proximity to the airport, I think we were less than 30 minutes away from Knock airport. The locals, on the final evening we were there, we ventured into Dun Mor (the closest town). We sampled 4 pubs and the local Chinese takeaway (The May Flower), everyone we met was so friendly and welcoming. The games room, pool table and darts with a beer to finish the evening off. The breakfast, a nice full Irish breakfast to start the day off.
quiet and comfortable place, a nice private home with a good host, well positioned to explore galway area and to come back to after a day of sightseeing
Great location with lovely seaview, spacious bedroom with comfy beds. Tasty breakfast and lovely host family. Recommended for anyone travelling the WAW or visiting Connemara.
