Location is excellent, close to Lough Rynn Castle and the lake. A beautiful home and I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area and would have no hesitation recommending it to others. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Communication with the host was easy.

Pat's Cottage, a property with a garden, is set in Cloone, 24 km from Leitrim Design House, 30 km from Carrick-on-Shannon Golf Club, as well as 33 km from Drumlane Abbey. Tasteful renovated cottage that was comfortable and very clean.

Set in Drumshanbo and only less than 1 km from Sliabh an Iarainn Visitor Centre, The Lake House offers accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had an excellent stay at the Lake House. The view from the house was fantastic. Vincent, the host was very approachable and answered all the queries we had. A wonderful place to stay if you are visiting with family or a group of friends. Highly recommend.

Situated in Carrick on Shannon in the Leitrim region, with Leitrim Design House nearby, Townhouse Stay - St George's Terrace features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. We had an unbelievable stay in this property, the house was exceptionally clean, each room was sitting to perfection. The decor of the house was just stunning. The location of the house was 10/10, it was a one minute walk to all the pubs and restaurants. We will definitely be back for a stay. We couldn’t recommend enough!!

Located in Rivers Town and only 21 km from Leitrim Design House, Lough Rynn-Lord Leitrim provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Property was very clean and well equipped. It was also a very short(2 minutes) from the hotel.

Set in Tullyrossmearan and only 8.9 km from Sean McDiarmada Homestead, Mc's View offers accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything! We picked this place because we’ve been going around Ireland and Northern Ireland and it was a great stopping point between Connemara National Park (beautiful, btw!) and the Giant’s Causeway (also incredible—highly recommend carrick-a-rede too). It was the perfect place to stay. It was absolutely gorgeous, overlooking the lake with mountains all around. There was a very cute sheep that bounded down the hill when I called out to it, as well as a super fun pedal kart. The beds were comfortable and the shower was easy to work (as was the heating instructions left in the little booklet with all the house information and nearby things to do). If we had more time and I had realized we would be able to do things in the area we probably would have stayed longer, honestly, if I ever come back I might stay another night just to take in the views and walk around the area. It was truly amazing. While we were just there for a night, we didn’t use many of the appliances but everything seemed to be there for anyone who might be looking for a longer stay.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Carraun Cottage is located in Manorhamilton, 19 km from Killinagh Church and 26 km from Parkes Castle. We had a lovely stay at this location. Though I never had the opportunity to meet Conor, as we were arriving well after dark, he was very quick to answer questions and quite patient with me as I seemed to have so many. I did have the opportunity to meet his dad, and found him to be a lovely man; friendly, knowledgable, and personable. That’s to be expected in Ireland, of course, but not so much where we come from. We had some issues during our visit that were beyond the owners control; the brand new (as in just a few weeks since installation) point of use water heater in the main bedroom’s shower failed, and they were so apologetic, though a defect was certainly not their fault and there was not much they could do about it. They handled it well, and it wasn’t too much trouble. A plumber was arriving straight away to get it rectified, as it was under warranty. A few things to note; 1. There is no telephone or internet. We found this to be only a slight burden for navigation, but nothing else. It was quite pleasant to relegate the phone for music duties only. Make sure people know where you are in case of emergency. 2. The fireplace door requires quite the effort to open, turning the handle counter-clockwise. It is fully functional, I assure you. Just put some muscle into it. Plenty of wood and peat are provided. 3. All supplies are provided for washing both your body and dishes, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to cook, reheat, and eat your food. Hand and bath towels are provided as well, but no face towels/washcloths. 4. Conor will inform you that both the house heater and the water heater for the second bedroom, sinks and kitchen are on timers. Don’t be concerned about that! It’s obviously for saving electricity, but we found the water to be hot at all times and the cabin plenty comfortable. 5. Set in Rivers Town and only 21 km from Leitrim Design House, Redhills Mohill offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay here as a family of 5. It was a lovely peaceful setting and my boys were delighted to see cows going past the window in the morning! The house was very clean with good attention to detail and nicely decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable and bedrooms very spacious. Check in was very quick and easy, no problems. Would definitely recommend!
