The location was amazing. The ocean is right up in front of u. Everything is new. The renovation is fresh. The beds have huge beds and very comfy mattresses. There are all of the supplies you might need from washing powder to shower gels. Everything for cooking too. The hostesses were very friendly and even brought us a corkscrew for wine at 11 pm. We could text them any time we needed sth. There was also a food recommendations list and sight seeing list left for us. As well as the compliment port wine and local fruits. There is a cure local bar, a couple of restaurants and a beach nearby. For groceries you’d have to drive 10-15 min. Amazing place. Big thanks to the hostesses for a wonderful stay ❤️

This gorgeous villa located in a beautiful fishing village just by the sea was a great choice. The view from the house is stunning. The inside is clean, very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is equipped with all the needed tableware, cooking utensils, big fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and a tumble dryer. The living room has a big TV, there's also free and fast wifi. The beds in the bedrooms are really comfortable, the bathrooms are clean with a lot of fresh towels. The villa is well-kept. Given the sunbeds and umbrellas, relaxing by the pool was very pleasurable. Around the house is a pretty garden with many plants. The large place to park your car next to the house is worth mentioning. Futhermore, the restaurant next door called Sabor a Mar fish factory is serving delicious, always fresh fish and the staff is really nice and helpful. The owners are very hospitable as well as the caretaker Andrea who manage the keys to the villa. There's a small convenience shop nearby and a bigger supermarket in Calheta. Overall, Casa do Paul do Mar is an amazing choice for a relaxing stay with the family or friends in a beautiful place.

A szálláshoz közvetlenül bevezető útacska (kb. 20m) a tengerparti utcáról nyílik, kicsit nehéz megtalálni. A waze nem ismerte, Paul do Mar Sunset-et érdemes beírni, ez a bevezető útacska jobb oldalán lévő épület, balra egy helyi étterem van, Sabor a Mar Fish Factory. A szállás 2 szintes, felül van egy, a folyosóról nyíló szoba kádas fürdőszobával, valamint egy másik szoba fürdő nélkül. A lenti szinten van egy önálló zuhanyozós fürdőszoba és egy nappali, a konyhával egyben. Mi négyen kényelmesen elfértünk. A háziak a szomszéd épületben laknak, nem zavarnak. 2 kutyájuk van, de azok ritkán vannak kint és barátságosak. Kaptunk kulcsot a házhoz, akkor jöttünk-mentünk amikor csak akartunk. A háziak nem mindegyike beszél angolul, inkább a fiatalok, de nagyon kedvesek. Madeirai bor és banán várt minket. Egyszerűség, tisztaság, jól felszerelt apartman, jó wifi. A szállás a többi úticélt jól megközelíthetővé teszi. Szerintem inkább dél és észak felosztás működik, déli szállásnak kiváló, mindenhez közel van, Funchalhoz is. Vacsorázni a faluban vacsoráztunk pár száz méterre onnét: Bar da Lapa, kis étkezde a tengerparton. Nagyon kedvesek, nagyon jól főznek és nagyon jó száraz, fehér portugál bort is ittunk ott: Marques de Borba Calcheito 2022. Később kiderült, hogy ez az egyik legjobb portugál bortermő vidék bora, mind a fehér, mind a vörös boruk nagyon finom. Ár-érték vonatkozásban 10/10.

Everything was more than perfect. We would give it 12 bonus instead of 10 :) The location is only few minutes from the sea and you can hear the sea wawes from your window. The beds are very comfy, the apartment is very clean. Coffy and chocholate are a great bonus. Very good place for families with kids, because of a big yard and a playground. Many thanks for the owners for such a good stay!
