I don't know how to start as this stay was our absolute highlight. We were invited to this tiny house with absolute hospitality and when a landlady told us everything about the accommodation, what to expect etc. we were left in awe. She filled a house with a lot of local products and food at our disposal which we did not expect - fruits, cheese, ham, wine, local bread, cereals, milk, coffee, tea and many others :-D The kitchen was fully equipped. There are like 3 trails starting right next to the house which we did not have time to walk but we will definitely do next time (trail maps provided). Although tiny house, the space inside is so big that it was more than enough for 2 people. Comfortable beds (we slept like babies in the bedroom), big bathroom and kitchen with a sofa. And... the terrace. With a view of the cliff/mountains and the ocean. If we could we would be sitting there all day long. Next to the accommodation there's a beach with black sand and calm waters. Close to that there's also miradouro where we were watching sunsets every day. There's also a washing machine to your disposal if you want.

Interesting angles an construction. Great location near beach trail and fun beach bar, round the corner from a shop and pharmacy, very outgoing and kind staff, easy parking.

Everything was great: the host Diana was super friendly and welcoming, the property is modern, stylish and clean, everything we need and even more was there. Nearby (1 min walk) is Atlantic ocean. To be honest I don’t remember such a great place to stay for a holiday in all aspects. Diana did everything to make us feel like at home. Many thanks for additional pleasant presents and surprises!)

Beautifull house with great view over the small village and bay. If you want to see amazing sunset make sure to book this house. Kids loved the pool, Sara made sure we had everything we needed. We absolutely loved to stay here and we hope to go back again.

The view of the coastline is phenomenal (as shown) and the property has a large terrace with deck chairs and a dining table from which to enjoy it. The kitchen and bath are modern and comfortable with good water pressure with plenty of hot water. The kitchen is well-equipped with appliances, dishes, cookware, etc. The property is a lovely, updated home that feels like a HOME, not a rental. The host provided a generous Welcome Package of wine, cheese, bread and other comforts for our arrival which was an unexpected and appreciated surprise. Free parking is conveniently available across the street. It was easy to walk to the beach, hiking, grocery, pharmacy, and restaurants. The village is quiet and charming, it felt a bit like stepping back in time.

our stay in maia at casa piscinas naturais was remarkable for the great facility with plenty of room and really appreciated having the use of a washing machine and dryer - we took several coastal walks just outside our door that were absolutely gorgeous - it's thoroughly entertaining to just spend time watching the continual waves of the north coast of sao miguel island pounding against the black lava rocks - we loved our time there
