An authentic Scandinavian house, carefully renovated and filled with beautiful objects (dishes, etc) by kind and welcoming hosts, becomes this truly beautiful and peaceful place with all the comfort you need. Although we enjoyed slow days with the views from the house in the morning or evenings in front of the fireplace, you are well connected to the Lofoten for a day trip (ferry from Melbu) or nearby Stokmarknes with places to stock up on groceries or a floating sauna you can book. Bonus: if you are visiting at the right time of the year and are a bit lucky as well, you can see northern lights from the house or right behind.

It felt like home away from home. It had all I needed, it was well arranged, it was cozy and comfortable in a perfect setting. I found the serenity I hoped for. A wonderful place!
