Located in a quiet (after 9 or 10) side street, convenient free parking across the street. Lovely host, not much English but he used Google Translate competently to great effect. Very responsive over booking messaging. Lots of small practical touches (e.g.wifi repeaters in various rooms, night stands and power - why was that so rare in the other six places we stayed in Sicily?). Nicely decorated as well. Short walk to Ortigia and to the archeological sites in the new town. Large Deco supermarket also only 10min walk away.

No problem getting free on street parking close to the apartment (there is a courtyard in the apartment block where you can park, but this was often full - we just parked on the streets surrounding the adjacent streets)
