Location is really convenient to reach nearby nature spots and other small towns nearby. House is well equipped with everything you need. Having a private garden is especially quite handy if you are coming with a dog. Kathleen and Hans are lovely hosts and they definitely made our stay enjoyable! The property is in a great location - a small village, but just minutes from the Autobahn. Great for hiking in the woods nearby, and not far from wine production on the Mosel, and the city of Trier. If you are feeling adventurous, there is a great hiking trail from the village to Himmerod Abbey, where you can get a great meal before making the return journey (about 15k round trip) The hosts are friendly, very attentive, and responsive to questions. The property itself is a real home from home. Nicely decorated, it is one of the best holiday lets we have ever stayed in. Everything that you could need in the kitchen. The property has a small washing machine, perfect for longer stays. The bed was comfortable, and there is plenty of storage space once you have unpacked your cases. The terrace at the front of the property is great for relaxing on a nice evening, or watching the rain on a summer's day. There is a field view from the front window, and there are many walking paths for a gentle stroll. The outside of the property is nicely landscaped and cared for. Quite honestly, we did not want to leave!! This place could not have been any more perfect, and if we get a chance we will return.
