Jambiani is a peacefull village, the villa is located 50m from the beach. Ralu and Lee, the owners and all the staff make a really good work to be sure You enjoy your stay! Excursions, places to visit, restaurants, booking… The rooms are beautiful, and well cleaned, with airconditionning and everything You need. Do not hesitate if You want to stop by Jambiani!

All rooms at the inn are fitted with a seating area. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, some units at Chokoro House also feature a terrace. At the accommodation the rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. Looking forward to stay there again in future! Featuring a private beach area, garden and views of garden, Mama Root is located in Kizimkazi, a few steps from Kizimkazi Mkunguni Beach. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. The place has been a magic place for our stay in Zanzibar. We couldnt expect such a good vibes and relax at Mama Root. The host has been always available and friendly with the us, trying to explain the best things to do according to the season.

Located in Nungwi, on the quieter north east coast of Zanzibar, Game Fish Lodge is situated along the beachfront and features an in-house restaurant, bar and a sun terrace. Free private parking is offered on site. The place is very special and therefore might not be right for everyone. I typically don't write reviews, but as the place is so special (and as I just missed a flight ;)) I would like to help directing the right people into the place: Come here if you are looking for: - a very personal experience with your hosts. After a very short time you will rather feel like visiting friends than being at a hotel. - amazing self-cooked food. Breakfast and dinner is also just like friends cooking for you. Collin is an amazing chef. Try his tuna steak. You will get cheaper offers for dinner in local restaurants, but in terms of quality and quantity they can't compete with Collin. Mind that Collin might not cook every night for you (e.g. when rugby is on), so talk early to him when you want to eat at the lodge. - a calm and spacious place in which you can sit directly at the sea in an exclusivity you will not have in all the nearby high-end hotels. You will have a huge property almost for your own. - very nice other guests. People are chilled and it's true what's written in the other reviews. Collin kicks out people who spread negative vibes ;-) - great views and a lonely sandbank. From the sand beach and pool terrace on the rocks right next to the sea and from the terraces of your bungalow you will have amazing views to the sea. Don't come here if you are looking for: - "Zanzibari 5-star service" in which you have a waiter every 5 meters serving you a cocktail and cleaners cleaning your room twice per day. It's just the 2 people owning the place and 1 employee. - A new hotel with a lot of standardization which was just build 1-2 years ago. The place was built over the past 20 years by the owners. Collin used to be in the construction industry himself so everything is built nicely. He does not like edges and standardization, so you will not feel like in a branded hotel. - Sand beaches to swim. Go to the west side of Nungwi.

Our House Keeping is done twice a day, Morning and during Dinner time.

Guests at Zanzibar House can enjoy both International and traditional Zanzibari dishes at the restaurant. I did a huge amount of research before booking this particular property and we were not disappointed at all. It is NOT like staying in a hotel, it is more like being invited to stay at a family house with friends who have exceptional staff providing for you and them. Maxi and Milia are Italian and their home reflects this, as well as their approach with guests, and we found them to be excellent hosts, who will chat with you and help you any way they can in a way I have never experienced in a 'brand' hotel, ever. One of the reviews I saw suggested that Italian guests were better treated - we are English and were treated wonderfully, by absolutely everyone. Another review said the food service was slow because they were not guests of the property, they are completely missing the point, and the style of Zanzibar. I cannot recommend this property enough. The hosts and staff provide a (much quieter than average) place to stay in Zanzibar where you can do as little as you wish, or as much as you want, because your hosts will gladly organise trips with their drivers and cars like they did for us.

Nashu House Stone Town, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Ngambo, 100 metres from Stone Town Beach, 1.2 km from Peace Memorial Museum, as well as 200 metres from Old Dispensary. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The guest house has family rooms. The Ambience, Staff, Cleanliness, location Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make comfort Both Anna and Hamisa were very helpful Breakfast isn't included however the host Nashu provided Bread and eggs and you can make your own tea so it was lovely 😍

The property offers quiet street views. Amazing place! We were supposed to stay 3 days but we extended for 3 more days. I totally recommend. The place is clean, well located, the kitchen has everything needed and Aurica and Roger (the managers) were very welcoming and friendly!

The room and the facilities are very comfortable. The breakfast is rich and delicious. The owner and his assistant, Viktor are exceptionally friendly and helpful in really everything. The biggest help was that Viktor arranged motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) every day to the beach. The price is 3.000. TSH. for one way. Thank you again Jusuf and Viktor for the cosy accomodation :)
