We had a wonderful stay at Casa do Mar. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful view of the sea and Faial island on one side, and of Mount Pico on the other. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location - walkable distance from Madalena center and from several natural pools, and a 10-minute drive from the airport. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would absolutely recommend!

We arrived late, but were already greeted at the parking lot. We were hungry, and without telling we got directly informed about all the options, incl. ordering Pizza for us and bringing it to the room. (But of course, we went to the restaurant, which she booked for us). Breakfast is incredible! Enjoy the full taste of the orange (local oranges). All the breakfast products are from the Azores. While/After breakfast, do you day plans in cooperation with the staff. We were here off-season and wanted to do whale watching. They organised it for us. Beautiful view from the breakfast and the Miradouro next to the parking lots. We do recommend 1000%.

Sunflower Guest House - Pico ligger i en trädgård och erbjuder boende i São Caetano med gratis WiFi och utsikt över havet. The house was sparkling clean and well equipped with everything we could ask for. The location is optimal with a fantastic view of the ocean on one side and the mountain on the other. The host took great care to accommodate our toddler and provided toys, books, a cot and a bed safety. We felt very welcome and well taken care of here.

To cut it short: this was our favorite place on a long Portugal/Azores trip. Highly recommended and would really love to return
