A spacious, luxurious and clean guesthouse in a quiet neighborhood. Free parking is available on the premises. Perfect breakfast and very nice staff. Enjoyed the stay and as a matter of speaking felt at home.

Featuring mountain views, Casa dos 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro features accommodation with patio, around 1.3 km from Douro Museum. Wonderful guest house with all of the amenities you could ask for. Marco and Joana are friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!

Zimão Garden House is located in Vila Real, 30 km from Natur Waterpark, 31 km from Golf Course Vidago Palace, and 43 km from Douro Museum. The house is like a small castle, but very tidy and comfortable. The owner is so nice. There are many well thought out details, which make the stay even more pleasant.

Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a bar and views of the pool, Muas Guest House is set in Vila Real and offers accommodation with free WiFi. What a view! We got a balcony room overlooking the mountain and towns below, as well as the pool and cute bar area downstairs. The room itself is quite small, but the bed was great and we really stayed here to be near the scenic area and Fisgas de Ermelo, the truly epic waterfall within a 20 minute drive of the property through the beautiful mountain area. The host was great, friendly to talk to and gave us some great tips (plus a quite good affordable bottle of wine for the evening). Make sure to bring dinner with you or stop before you come for the evening as there is nothing in the immediate area. Breakfast was quite good too. There is also a pool and hot tub, although it was too cold for us to use those (even in July). Overall, if you're driving through the area, it's worth a stop!

Situated in Provesende and only 12 km from Natur Waterpark, Quinta Pedreira dos Anjos features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

Located within 12 km of Longroiva Hot Springs and 40 km of São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum, Casa dos Primos provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Muxagata. Teresa and Miguel are the best hosts one could expect. The room was roomy and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and the location of the house was perfect to explore the region in the best way. We will will surely come back.

Located within 12 km of Douro Museum and 27 km of Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, Vila Douro Guesthouse provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Mesão Frio. The view from this property was outstanding, looking out over the Douro River you could see a long ways in both directions. Breakfast was also fantastic, with good bread and jam as well as fresh fruit, ham and cheese. There was a swimming pool, but we didn’t use it. The common areas were very nice.
