The room was very clean and big, everything looks brand new. The bed is very confortable and big, the bathroom is very spacious, the facilities are great, the staff is super helpful, especially Carlos which gave us some very helpful advice on how to visit the island along with some maps. They even have an elevator(lift) even if there aren't many stairs. You don't need to stay closer to Ponta Delgada as you will mostly travel by car and from CFS Azores you are 7-10 minutes away from the city center where you can eat and do stuff if you want to. It was great altogether, I 100% recommend it and would return.

Solar de Santo André er nýlega enduruppgert gistihús í Ponta Delgada, 12 km frá Pico do Carvao. Það býður upp á útisundlaug og sjávarútsýni. I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

Casa-do-Mar er staðsett í Madalena og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Gististaðurinn er með sameiginlegt eldhús og arinn utandyra. We had a great stay at Casa do Mar on Pico. The house is just wonderful with lots of natural wood and it is directly located at the water. In the evening we could sit on the terrace and enjoy the sunset. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and prepared a delicious breakfast every morning (bread rolls, cheese, meat, jam, joghurt, fruits, müsli and boiled eggs).

Pico er í 12 km fjarlægð do Carvao, DMCharme býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með svölum. Gistirýmið er með verönd og útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn. Gistihúsið býður upp á borgarútsýni. Bed is comfortable. Private bathroom is huge. The host is very attentive and helpful. Daniel helped me with taxi when I was in the middle of the island.

Gististaðurinn er í innan við 500 metra fjarlægð frá Praia do Corpo Santo og 600 metra frá Praia da Vinha da Areia í Vila Franca do Campo, Pousada da Vila býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Everything was great! I highly recommend that place for a holiday. Quiet, comfortable, everything you need.

The fact that the lady that runs the place was very nice to us went all the way to make us feel at home specially when she left us 2 boxes with breakfast things so we could have breakfast before we left she was the best if I ever go back I will definitely try to stay there

Thalassa Villas er staðsett í Ponta Delgada, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá São Roque-ströndinni og í 15 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Milicias-ströndinni, og býður upp á sundlaug með útsýni og... Convenient location in São Roque, 20-30 min walk to Ponta Delgada downtown. Around 10 min walk to grocery store and some restaurants. Studio is quite small, but comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Kitchen is nice for preparing basic meals. The terrace is fantastic, overlooking the ocean and gets a lot of sun. Pool towels are great to take with you to hot springs.

Cantinho do Piano býður upp á gistirými í Velas. Gistihúsið er með fjölskylduherbergi. Very central situation in Velas, just 200 meters from the ferry harbour. Stylish interior design. Comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen and a outside terrace was shared with all the rooms. Room has a/c.

Casa da Lomba do Cavaleiro er staðsett í Povoação og er í aðeins 2,4 km fjarlægð frá Morro-ströndinni en það býður upp á gistirými með sjávarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Great traditional house. Rodrigo was extremely accommodating with anything we needed as well as offering great advice re places to visit. We loved the art and books around the house. Thank you.
