Less than a mile from John Lennon Airport, this family-run guest house is a 20-minute drive from Liverpool city centre. Gateway Lodge offers free parking and cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi. Perfect, value for money and location beats any of those big chain hotels/motels near the airport It is also super quiet. We could sleep with open windows!!! We stayed in several places during the 10 days preceding the Gateway Lodge. None of those could compare to the quality of the Lodge.

The Adelphi Guest House offers well-appointed accommodation on England’s north-west coast, just 2 minutes’ walk from Southport Theatre and Convention Centre. Caroline is an amazing host. Friendly, helpful, and always up for a chat. Would strongly recommend this place if you're staying in Southport.

The Ambassador Townhouse is set in the centre of Southport, and only 10 minutes' walk from Southport Rail Station. Friendly, welcoming, homely. Good food. Nothing too much trouble. Tasteful decor. Good location, central for all amenities, shopping and leisure. Highly recommend. Definitely will be returning.

The Norwood Guest House is situated just 10 minutes’ walk from the Grade II listed Southport Pier and Southport beach. We absolutely loved our stay at The Norwood. Valentina and Richard were so welcoming and helpful. The room was so comfortable and spotless. It is a short walk to lots of pubs and restaurants. We had fabulous meals in restaurants recommended by Richard and have lots of tips for our next trip. We would recommend The Norwood to anyone and will certainly be going back.

Located in the heart of Southport, The Leicester offers 4-star, Silver Award accommodation in a traditional Victorian building. Great breakfast. Friendly owner. Very clean.

The Breeze Guest House in Bootle is just 2 miles from Anfield, the home of Liverpool Football Club. It offers traditional English food, individually designed rooms and free parking. The owner was friendly and nice.

A friendly, family-run guest house located a short walk from Southport's famous Lord Street and Theatre. Free WiFi is provided and limited free parking is available on a first-come, first-served... Gary and Shirley couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and comfortable - friendly and always willing to do anything necessary to ensure our comfort but also with a sensible set of rules and requests to ensure all guests respected each other's stay - a real gem of a place which I would gladly recommend to anyone visiting Southport - the omelette Gary makes is legendary 😋
