We checked in late at night, and Andre took great care of us and got us situated. We stayed in the Deluxe King Hasten Suite (which is not a king bed, but a queen), and it was beautiful. We also ordered in-room massages with one of their vendors. Slight hiccup was that the appointments were for Mon, but she didn't arrive due to child care issues, and we rescheduled for the next day. It was great. The property itself is fantastic with cork walls, wooden decks, and many small design details that we appreciated. The shower was very large and had plenty of hot water with great water pressure. Our own Netflix account was super easy to connect to their TV via the supplied QR code. Every morning, there was free breakfast, and it was freshly made and delicious. Plenty of free coffee, tea, and juices in the breakfast area adjacent to the lobby. Breakfast included chia puddings, uniquely prepared egg options, pancakes, etc. We also got to know Jason there who was also fantastic and very hospitable.

The grounds and interior of the home were immaculate. We were the only guests we saw throughout our stay and we felt as if the staff was catering to us. The owner was very welcoming from check-in to check-out. He helped us sort out a motorway charge, carried our very heavy bags up the stairs, was always available when we needed him and not present when we wanted to roam the grounds and feel left alone. Breakfast was plentiful and served in a beautiful dinning room. They have an honor bar that you're free to access whenever you want. If ever in the area, I would certainly stay here again!

Amazingly peaceful getaway in a small town. Easy access to the beaches, lighthouse, cliffs and Sintra's palaces. The staff were lovely. The pool area is perfect to relax and unwind. Lovely simple breakfast served each morning with a few down the cliffs. Ducks and other animals roaming around the grassy area give it a very rustic vibe. The rooms are clean, modern and well sized.

It was a lovely quirky place to stay. So nice to stay somewhere individual and interesting instead of a typical white sterile environment. The host was very accommodating and helpful as we had 2 dogs and 2 kids under age of 3. The room was perfect size for us with 2 double beds a cot and a great chair for feeding the baby.

beautiful charming old hotel in fantastic condition. large dining room and kitchenette for guests to prepare and eat food. tall ceilings with chandeliers. comfortable beds. large rooms with breath taking views opening onto huge sweeping terrace on the ocean. clean. comfortable beds. near restaurants and bars. it's possible to find free street parking if you look for it.

This place was above my expectations it has a shared kitchen with all utensils necessary coffee , machine, pots, oven , burner, refrigerator etc it also have tables were you can eat … it is close to restaurants, laundry, beauty salon, small stores and a mini supermarket and beach across the street ir was just great 😀 the owner was super nice
