The hotel is the best on the island, just sand foot on the bikini beach. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. Rooms really clean, great airconditioning. The food was also really nice, especially the grilled fish and tuna steak. Looking forward to be back!

I stayed only one night, but I loved String Waves. They arrange my passage from the airport ahead of time, helped me with the luggage, gave me a great welcome, and made sure they could accommodate some breakfast even if I left earlier than breakfast time. The room was very spacious and had all I needed, including AC. It was quiet at night and very clean. I wish I could have stayed longer :)

Hotel gave us all things for water sports (glasses for snorkelling, like this) and special towel for beach. About Breakfast: it’s like a-pa carte menu, you can choose, but we ordered every day same breakfast menu, because we liked so much, very very tasty breakfast. A perfect Anniversary getaway! On arrival at Gulhi pier we were greeted by a very friendly BWV member of staff to help with luggage and only walked a few mins to the other side of the island where the hotel was . We were welcomed with 2 lovely fresh coconut drinks then taken to our room where our bed was beautifully made up to read a very special Anniversary message together with a delicious celebration cake - what a lovely surprise ! Beach walk villa is moments away from a gorgeous sandy ( bikini!) beach with turquoise clear sea and only moments away from restaurants /shops / pier and little further up the a place to do a bit of snorkelling ! We definitely recommend BWV in Gulhi - a lovely place to stay on a small island for a few days ! Sarah and Lee
