Sophia provides an ample Italian breakfast in the morning between 7-10 AM. We were able to walk to a restaurant upon arrival which was helpful. My suggestion on transportation…just use the FCO taxi to and from the airport. It is easier than trying to take the infrequent bus service. The cost for us was 20 Euro each way.

We booked last minute as our flight arrived late at night as it was delayed. We couldn't find a taxi and the owner wrote us and when we said we were looking for a taxi at the airport but there was no availability, she offered to pick us up. The shower was great and the bed super comfortable. We only stayed for one night as we had our connecting flight the next morning. We would for sure stay here again if we would need to sleep near Fiumicino airport. Highly recommended!
