We were here in October, 2023 and forgot to write a review then. Better late than never. When considering all the places you can stay when visiting the National park, this one is in the top category. What makes it exceptional is the location (in the quiet countryside) and the very friendly owner. Room was small but adequate. The communal kitchen is well equipped. The price is very reasonable. You need a car to dine out.

The property is located close (5 to 6 km) to the entrance of the Plitvice Lakes park, surrounded by forest, very quiet and peaceful, birds singing in the morning, crickets in the evening. There is a spring near by where you could walk and have ice cold water. The owner, Tomi, is super nice and helpful with everything you may need. Food was fantastic, dinners are a home-cooked meal by Tomi himself using fresh local ingredients, and there is always a home made pear brandy, wine or beer available. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The property is small and intimate so there is a communal atmosphere with other guests (but enough space for privacy if you're not in the mood).

Value for money, owner was very friendly and nice. Went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We booked at arrival breakfast and dinner. Breakfast and dinner was very good and a lot. Especially for breakfast great variety and dinner with local products. Very nice. We highly recommend it. Peaceful location and at the same time walking distance to supermarket (10min) and national park entrance 2 (20-25min). Bed is very comfortable. We had a good sleep.
