The beach in Marathi is absolutely gorgeous. The room was okay. Just be aware that without a car it’s impossible to move around, there’s no taxi station close and also no supermarkets and atm. So go prepared with cash and a taxi number if you don’t own a car.

Pazinos Village is a lovely place to stay and is very close to the airport. The communication from Dimitri from the start of the booking was brilliant. We had a really late flight arrival at about 1130pm which was delayed until about 12, but Dimitri still had someone pick us up ! He also helped us sort out a hire car for the duration of our stay which was a good price and the car is good.

For me this was a little pearl right in the nature. It gave some exercise, but was good for me. The sheeps was so close to the Alpha House and I just loved it, loved the view from rooftop and the panoramic view, the mountain view, the lady of the house Joan (thank you for company for breakfast and for all your kindness) she was just amazing and John the sweetest man. From Plaka there are the most beautiful view over the village of Almirida. I just loved those nice, little villages.

The house is spacious and comfortable with a private pool and a fantastic view. It was incredibly clean, private and felt very safe. A great place to stay if you are renting a car or motorcycle. The house had decent Wifi and a few friendly cats in the garden. The hosts were so incredibly, thoughtful and pleasant and made our experience significantly better and would check up on us if we needed anything during our stay, they were also readily accessible on the booking app to answer any questions or queries we had. The house had good air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen including an oven, microwave, hobs, a fridge and a freezer. It is also 10 minutes from Chania airport however I did not experience any noise issues with any planes during my stay.
