The place is in a good location relative to the city center and there is parking not far away. We arrived at a clean, beautiful place, graceful design with treats in every room. The self check-in was easy and fast and really everything was really great!

Witchwood house is ideally located, not too close to the city center where it would be noisy, but close enough to take a walk to the restaurant. It has a magnificent view, the room is impressive, and Iain is very welcoming. We took a road trip in Scotland, and Witchwood was the most lovely place we spent a night in.

Great location to stay, hosts could not do enough for us, one of the best guest houses i have ever stayed in, very clean, great attention to detail and the views are amazing. Within walking distance to Jacobs ladder, Oban Distillery, McCaig's Tower, Battery Hill and also great pubs and Restaurants just down the hill in the town.

We arrived late and had dinner in the pub/restaurant. The quality was way in excess of our expectations. I had a Beetroot cured smoked gravadlax with horseradish cream, cress & toasted sourdough followed by Beer battered haddock & hand cut chips with peas & tartare. The starter was one of the best I have ever had and the main course was the perfect meal for a first day in Scotland. Compliments to the chef!! Our room was spacious with every comfort. A huge comfortable bed with a nice view out the front of the building, and nice bathroom with all necessary accessories.
