Located in Divača and only 4 km from The Škocjan Caves, Homestead Vrbin provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. There was breakfast there in the morning. It was very good. Typical Slovenian breakfast. There was also a restaurant there in the evening so if you didn't want to go out you could eat there.

Apartments Janks offers air-conditioned apartments and studios with free WiFi. It is just 4 km from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Škocjanske Jame, in a small village called Vremski Britof. It is a convenient place to stay if you want to visit caves or go to the seaside or even go to Ljubljana. The managers are very nice people. The apartment is clean and quiet.

Featuring a garden fitted with tables, chairs and BBQ facilities, Tourist Farm Dujceva Domacija is located in Vremski Britof. Free WiFi access is available throughout. Absolutely perfect for our group.

Offering mountain views, Tourist Farm Škerlj is an accommodation situated in Dutovlje, 17 km from Trieste Train Station and 19 km from Piazza Unità d'Italia. We absolutely loved this place. The family that owned the property was so nice and helpful. They even went out of their way to find a stable nearby for our horseback riding crazy kid. Pool was a lovely way to cool off. The apartment was nice and big, air conditioning was a nice plus on the warm days. We cooked on the one night the restaurant was closed, but opted for the dinners on the other nights, because the food was so good. The kitchen also accommodated our request for a vegetarian option. Location was great, close enough to the sites we wanted to see (Lipica, the coast, Trieste) but also a nice location in its own right. We took a walk every day down footpaths that led us past fields and vineyards.
