Our stay was absolutely wonderful - the property was immaculate in every respect. Everything was very thoughtfully designed to provide an amazing stay for guests, and it felt like truly no expense was spared to create a beautiful space. There were many thoughtful touches provided by the host throughout our stay.

Situated just 23 km from Pico do Carvao, Casa Branca features accommodation in Lagoa with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Very nice property away from the noise of the city! We slept very well and were waking up to the sounds of the nature around us, the windows have mosquito nets, so we could get fresh air. As anywhere else on this island, this place is best accessible by the car (free parking). The house has separate rooms, two shared bathrooms, big kitchen and garden, but we didn't feel the presence of other guests much. Bathrooms are big and clean, loved the fresh flowers from the owners garden :) Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Featuring free bikes, the eco-friendly Herdade do Ananás is located in Ponta Delgada, 2.9 km from Portas da Cidade. This hotel, where I am now staying for the 3rd time, is of course great, the friendly employees, the room(6nr.) with veranda, the breakfast and the pineapple tour and then the great hot tub in the beautiful pineapple greenhouse makes it complete. The location of the hotel is also great just outside the center. If you get the chance for dinner at Rustico restaurant, do it!

Centrally located in Sao Miguel Island, this property is set in the quiet area of Vila Franca do Campo. Muni obrigada, Miguel for this nice time, the magical view and the natural pool. Miguel is a very helpful host. It was nice to see our child and her friend.

Situated in Feteiras and only 15 km from Pico do Carvao, Moinho das Feteiras features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Beautiful unique home. The grounds of the property are very well maintained. Truly a one of a kind experience. Staff were quick to respond to any of our messages. The breakfast was great!

Definitely a hidden gem that possesses a superb quality of life in which people should aspire to.

The Convento de São Francisco is a built in a 17th century Franciscan convent. A wonderful place to stay, tranquility, picture perfect, home-made breakfast of local products, friendly staff, architecturally restored with respect to the original building, great little village 5 minutes walk full of activities that equal what's available in the city, highly recommend to stay here rather than Ponta Delgada which is reachable 20-25 mins by car if needed - would return to stay at the Convent without question.

A former summer house, Quinta da Abelheira offers an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a large lawn area. It is located in Fajã de Baixo, 4 km from Ponta Delgada, in Azores. Amazing location, the hotel is very well located, the staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful. The swimming pool is great (and the bar is a bonus), the whole lot feels very homely and classy. The breakfast is INCREDIBLE. The buildings are sparkling clean, smell good and are decorated with taste. Do not hesitate, it's a great place to wander about the island.
